The Witch-Hunt Narrative: Politics, Psychology, and the Sexual Abuse of Children is a 2014 book by Ross E. Cheit, published by Oxford University Press.[1]

Subject

The book examines how prominent child sexual-abuse prosecutions of the 1980s came to be described as witch-hunts. Drawing on trial-court research, Cheit argues that this account often overlooks evidence of abuse or the complexity of individual cases.[1]
