Bill Richardson is an American politician.
Activities
Richardson was the US/Democratic Party Governor of New Mexico from 2003 to 2011.
In November 2021 Richardson went to Myanmar, a country in which he is "deeply invested".[1]. He explained that "The main focus of my discussions was to identify specific ways to speed the delivery of COVID-19 vaccines from the COVAX facility to Myanmar and to help mitigate a possible fourth wave of COVID-19."[2]
Jeffrey Epstein
Bill Richardson appears to be among the Clinton era officials closest to Jeffrey Epstein, having personally visited Epstein’s New Mexico ranch[3] and been the recipient of Epstein donations of $50,000 to his 2002 and 2006 gubernatorial campaigns. Richardson gave Epstein’s donation in 2006 to charity after allegations against Epstein were made public. Richardson was also accused in court documents of engaging in sex with Epstein's underage victims[4], an allegation that he has denied.[5]
