A company is a legal entity formed by one or more individuals to engage in and operate a business.[1]
Sabotage
Some companies may have been sabotaged by people at the management level (on purpose) before going bankrupt.[2] Outsourcing core functions to cronies, introducing self-enforcing mismanagement, in the end selling the company in pieces, leaving the competition with increased market share and afterwards getting preferable treatment with a new employment. In that sense, private equity is sometimes being blamed for putting Toys "R" Us out of business.[3][4][5][6][7]
