The spook and officer Al Martin in 2002 pointed out a large number of premature deaths:
When I say "principal players," I mean agents of the United States Government, agents of foreign governments (Panama, Haiti, Cuba, Belize, and so on), the narcotics traffickers, their defense counsels, who were essentially acting as quasi-government agents, and bankers who were also acting as quasi-government agents.
There are about 500 notable names... we can talk about what happened to all of these 500 people in the post-Iran-Contra environment -- what I would call the cover-up period from 1986 to date.
Of these 500 individuals, about 200 have died under suspicious circumstances. The others are in exile, or they have made all sorts of deals.Some are living quite comfortably at the largesse of the U.S. government.[1]
