Most issues up to number 57 are available in hard copy from the editor, Robin Ramsay.
Origins
In 1983 Robin Ramsay started The Lobster with Stephen Dorril, whose State Research Bulletin he had subscribed to.
Format
The first nine issues were A5, then it was increased to A4.
Ramsay / Dorril split
Ramsay "went through something of a self-confessed mid-life crisis and unceremoniously ejected Stephen Dorril, stole the Lobster name, subscription list and back copies", reports Dorril.[1]
Penetration by MI5
Ramsay relates how in 1987, he attracted the attentions of an MI5 agent very interested in the Lobster Magazine.[2]
