Not to be confused with his father Marcus Wallenberg Sr., his son Marc Wallenberg or his grandson Marcus Wallenberg (born 1956).
Marcus Wallenberg Jr. was deep state operative, head of the Wallenberg family which controls 40% of the Swedish economy, and chairman of the Federation of Swedish Industries. He was a very regular visitor to the Bilderberg, only rarely skipping a meeting. After visiting the 1957 February Bilderberg (the fifth Bilderberg) he visited some 22 times until his last visit, in 1981.

Connections
Wallenberg was a long time Bilderberger and in 1981 was member of the Bilderberg Steering committee. A son, Peter Wallenberg and two grandsons, Marcus "Husky" Wallenberg and Jacob Wallenberg are also regular Bilderberg attendees, and Marcus "Husky" Wallenberg is a fellow member of The 1001 Club.
