Resignation

On 31 January, 2026 Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico accepted the resignation of his adviser Miroslav Lajčák who has decided to step down due to his communication with late US financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.[1][2] The selective release of FBI documents to implicate Lajčák might have been a way to get at Fico, who was the target of a deep state assassination attempt in 2024.
