CIA MKULTRA-funded psychiatric experiments at McGill's Allan Memorial Institute under Donald Ewen Cameron.

The Montreal experiments were a set of psychiatric procedures carried out chiefly in the 1950s and 1960s at the Allan Memorial Institute of McGill University in Montreal under psychiatrist Ewen Cameron. Declassified U.S. records and later Canadian inquiries established that aspects of Cameron's work were funded through CIA MKULTRA cut-outs.

Documented methods associated with the programme include intensive electroconvulsive therapy, drug-induced coma/"sleep therapy," and repetitive taped messaging ("psychic driving"). Survivors and estates later sought compensation from the Canadian government; public settlements and apologies form part of the open record.

This page summarises the sourced historical record. It does not extend into unverified mind-control folklore.
