The New Testament is the second section of the Christian biblical canon which discusses the teachings and person of Jesus Christ, as well as events relating to first-century Christianity.
The first section of the Christian Bible, the Old Testament, is based primarily upon the Hebrew Bible, and both Old and New are regarded as Sacred Scripture by Christians.[1]
