Very large American city. Location of 9-11. Has the largest Jewish population of any city in the world.

Not to be confused with New York State.

New York City is a populous city in the North Eastern United States.

Finances

The city and its people are very rich. New York City was owed at least $1 billion in unpaid parking tickets and speeding fines in the 2010s. The collective resident assets of this city are over $3 trillion, according to a 2024 study, as it houses a very large Jewish population who make up a large amount of the over 300,000 millionaires living there. Although the cities' government faced a homelessness problem since the dawn of the time, which has been exacerbated by the recent deportation of illegals from the US border states to NY, a NYT report in 2022 reported more than 75% of vacant homes would still be vacant is every homeless person would be given a vacant house.

Unexplained towers

In 2017, New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) began erecting 18 metal structures at the entrance of tunnels and bridges, reportedly at a cost of $100M. MTA chairman Joe Lhota said the towers included "fiber optics necessary for those Homeland Security items" but declined to elaborate further. A 2019 local report said there were dozens of buildings just "build to supply more vents to the underground subway system". Significant parts of the city are heated by an underground network of steam pipes build in the 1900s, when asbestos was normal to include as building material. Recent explosions in the 2010s have caused concerns for rising rates of cancers possibly caused by them.

New York has a long history of deep state mayors. Rudy Giuliani during 9-11 played a controversial role, and in the 2020s, Eric Adams suddenly became anti-immigration after illegal aliens were forcibly dropped in his city by border states. Eric Adams also faced a rape accusation in 2023.
