St. Elizabeths Hospital is a psychiatric hospital in Southeast Washington, D.C., a few miles from the CIA headquarters.
Activities
During World War II, the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), the predecessor to the Central Intelligence Agency, used facilities and staff at St. Elizabeths Hospital to test truth serums.[1]
Kay Griggs mentioned that Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital, like the Eastern State Hospital in Williamsburg, had many Army intelligence people as targets, people who had decided to tell truth. If someone talked, they are disappeared, or were neutralized, or ruined. A conspiracy of silence reigns.[2]
L. Ron Hubbard on the behalf of US Naval and other intelligence agencies, worked at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in the 1930s - "the hot-bed of psychiatric research during Project Bluebird and Project Artichoke, the precursors to the infamous MK-ULTRA program –– in addition to his infiltration of Jack Parsons' occult-influenced rocket program, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, whose work became the scientific foundation for NASA."[3]
