Candid remark about Korean Air Lines Flight 007
Ted Koppel commented about Korean Air Lines Flight 007 on the ABC News that "This has been one of those occasions when there is very little difference between what is churned out by the U.S. government propaganda organs and by the commercial broadcasting networks."[1]
"War On Terror"
He attended the 1984 Washington Conference on International Terrorism.
Craig Spence
Koppel regularly attended dinner parties held by Craig Spence, a deep state actor who organized a sexual blackmail ring in Washington DC in the 1980s. Koppel "declined to speak in depth about Spence", but said, "Craig is a charming amusing and weird person. If I were going to cut off any kind of contact with Craig Spence because of weird behavior, I would have cut it off 22 years ago."[2]
