Thaddeus "Thad" Troy is spook who was CIA Chief of Station in four countries, including Turkey.
Education
Troy graduated of Dartmouth College in Russian Studies and studied in both Russia and China. [1]
Career
Troy worked for more than 30 years with CIA's Clandestine Service, from 1982 until 2012.[2] He was Chief of Station at four posts, including Turkey and one of CIA's largest stations in Western Europe.[1]
Indicating where he was posted, "he has professionally used Russian, German, Croatian, and French in his career and is familiar with Turkish, Danish, and Hindi."[1]
CIA bugging foreign planes
