Thorvald Stoltenberg was a Norwegian deep state actor and close associate of the deep state actor and influential spook Trond Johansen.
Connections
His son, Jens Stoltenberg, like his father, is a deep state actor who was the 13th secretary general of NATO from 2014-2024.
Seymour Hersh fingers Jens Stoltenberg as having "cooperated with the American intelligence community since the Vietnam War".[1] However, Jens (born 1959) was only a child during that time, and Hersh's source is likely confusing him for his father. Thorvald might have been recruited by the CIA at the time when he was a student leader in the mid 1950s.
