2014 saw the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. In 2014, the amount of property taken by civil asset forfeiture exceeded that taken by burglary. The UK Deep State set up BellingcatTemplate:Cn, which they were later to use to try to enhance the credibility of their false flags.

The 2014 Ukraine coup involved the EuroMaidan sniper shootings, an Operation Gladio-style regime change in Ukraine by NATO.[1]
Peer-reviewed Research into Oligarchy
In the fall of 2014, the academic journal Perspectives on Politics published Testing Theories of American Politics: Elites, Interest Groups, and Average Citizens, the first academic study of whether the US was a de facto democracy - i.e. whether the will of the people influenced whether legislation got enacted.[2] It began by asking "Who governs? Who really rules? To what extent is the broad body of U.S. citizens sovereign, semi-sovereign, or largely powerless?" and concluded that "Despite the seemingly strong empirical support in previous studies for theories of majoritarian democracy, our analyses suggest that majorities of the American public actually have little influence over the policies our government adopts."[3] This was not followed up on by commercially-controlled media and as of December 2017, it was still the only paper on this topic.[4]
