The 1994 Bilderberg Meeting was the 42nd such meeting and had participants from Europe, the United States and Canada. It was held at Helsinki, Finland. The guests included business executives, politicians, financiers, editors/journalists and academics. The next meeting was the 1995 Bilderberg.

The American Free Press states that it was a result of the Spotlight's appeal to readers that the 1994 Bilderberg had "extensive press and broadcast coverage that stunned Bilderberg luminaries" and that "Bilderberg has suffered extensive coverage in Europe since."[1]
