Robin Till Nils Johannes Wagener is a German judge and politician of the Alliance 90/The Greens with a focus on Eastern Europe.
Activities
According to a report by Junge Welt, Wagener met with a Ukrainian delegation and Azov fighters in Berlin in mid May 2025. The report points out that the organizer, Sergej Sumlenny, thanked him for making the meeting possible. One of the invited speakers was one Valery Gorishny, who has a background Neo-Nazism [1] and possibly an SS tattoo on his body.[2] This is notable since Alliance 90/The Greens generally has the strongest stance against anything that could be considered "right-wing" in Germany, and Wagener himself writing that he opposes populist and illiberal forces.[3]
He called for the delivery of the German made Taurus cruise missile to Ukraine to strengthen their war effort on his social media.[4]
