Who triggered the Rwanda Genocide?
Official Narrative
The Wikipedia page is a comprehensive presentation of the current Western Official Narrative. In summary it has the majority Hutu population coming close to exterminating the minority Tutsi population and that, but for the intervention of Paul Kagame's ex-patriot Western-backed RPF forces based mainly in neighbouring Uganda, they may have succeeded. It is presented as a case of initial (and scandalous) Western indifference, followed by better-late-then-never support for the heroic rescuers of a grievously threatened and defenceless population.
