The University of Buenos Aires is a public research university in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Established in 1821, it is the premier institution of higher learning in the country and one of the most prestigious universities of Ibero-America and the world.[1][2][3] It has educated 17 Argentine presidents, produced four of the country's five Nobel Prize laureates, and is responsible for approximately 40% of the country's research output.[4][5]
The University of Buenos Aires enrolls more than 328,000 students and is organized into 13 independent faculties.[6]
Covid censorship
On December 2, 2025, Dr. Andrés Ozols, physicist and scientist, was informed that he is prohibited from entering his workplace and laboratory at the Faculty of Engineering at the university. The reason was his presentation on November 27 at the Chamber of Deputies of Argentina, where he described the Covid jabs and the effects of electromagnetic waves, neuromodulation, and human control[7][8]
