Gerald Ronson is a British businessman, philanthropist, and convicted criminal.
In the 1980s, he was one of the 'Guinness Four' involved in a trading fraud, for which he served six month in prison.
He is a long-time supporter of Jewish charities, and was knighted for this charitable work in the UK's 2024 New Years Honours List.
He is the CEO of Heron International.[1]
Criminal conviction
Ronson was known in the UK as one of the Guinness Four for his involvement in the Guinness share-trading fraud of the 1980s. He was convicted in August 1990 of one charge of conspiracy, two of false accounting, and one of theft. He was fined £5 million and given a one-year jail sentence, of which he served six months.
In 2000, the European Court of Human Rights ruled that use of statements made to inspectors in the 1990 trial had been unfair, but rejected five other complaints and denied a costs application.
An appeal to the Court of Appeal Criminal Division, seeking to have the Human Rights Act 1998 applied retrospectively, failed in 2001.
A final appeal to the House of Lords failed in 2002. No further appeal was possible and the convictions were upheld.[2]
Heron International
By the early 1980s Heron was one of the largest private companies in the United Kingdom, with assets of over £1.5 billion, including a significant stake in the American home video industry by way of Media Home Entertainment and its subsidiary labels, which Heron purchased in 1984.
But the company was over-extended, and after Gerald's criminal conviction in the Guinness share-trading fraud during which time he spent six months in Ford Open Prison, by the mid-1990s the company almost collapsed with debts of over £1 billion owed to 11,000 bondholders.
The company survived with help from Bill Gates, Rupert Murdoch, Craig McCaw, Oracle Corporation’s founder, Larry Ellison, and others who gave loans to Heron.[3]

Community Security Trust
Between his conviction and knighthood, in 1994, Ronson founded CST—ostensibly to 'protect UK jewish communities' from 'Anti-Semitism'.
The reality: CST is a Mossad-linked lobby group with deep government and police ties. It has over 2,000 trained volunteers/personnel and works closely with police nationally/regional/local levels (including joint patrols and data sharing). It also collaborates with Shomrim—the UK jewish police. Didn’t know there was such a thing? You do now. 😒
CST's chief executive has referred to Shomrim as 'friends' alongside groups like Hatzola (jewish ambulance).
In February 2024, the British government announced a £72 million funding package for 'protective security' for the jewish community, administered through CST. Emergency top-ups have followed, including £10 million in October 2025—the largest dedicated allocation for any UK community group facing 'hate crime threats'.
Two days ago, CST published its 'antisemitic incidents' report for 2025. Over 50% of the incidents recorded were related to Palestine and the genocide. This is the 'hate crime' they receive funding for. Let that sink in.
A pro-'israel' British jew convicted fraudster turned knight, with documented links to Epstein and Netanyahu, receives millions in British taxpayer money—via an organisation he founded—to police British citizens and attack civil liberties and free speech for opposing a foreign entity. An entity committing genocide.
